Problems & Support
The thing here is that the ppd (paper puppet dragon) community is destroying itself, which is just sad. There are plenty of problems, but the biggest ones are that creators are hating on each other while we're also getting hatted on from outside. That make people quit the fandom and the more people quit, it discourages others and they don't want to continue. There's also a lack of support on some accounts and an overwhelming amount of eyes on others. Some are expected to be perfect (which is impossible because we are all human) and others spend a lot of time just for their videos to flop (creating dragons takes hours, even if they look simple). Though this is more of an algorithm problem, but it's still a problem. It's also the main reason this site exists. To give support to underrated creators! And everything else came along the way.
Support smaller creators
Everyone needs support. Including the less popular people. Y'all need to be appreciated for your creativity! Encourage people to continue! It's a really creative hobby with a lot of creative people
Stop fighting each other
We need to stop working against each other. It's counter productive and we are in the same community. We're on the same side. Though I personally feel like some make beef with others just to see drama (if you are that person, go on youtube and look up drama, there's enough of it around! No need to make one in a small comunity)
Stop copying others
Please be original… it's the same as copying someone else's OC (oh wait- IT IS THAT). It's disrespectful to other artists. Here's an ENTIRE site go grab ideas from! And there are a lot on TikTok, just look to see if you need to credit the creator. Hell- Make dragons of already, existing characters, but your version of them (Wings Of Fire characters come to mind first, probably because that's what I'm reading at the time of making this, but I also saw Jax from The amazing digital circus! I wish I remember who the creator is to credit them). OR, if you're a furry with an existing fursona, turn THAT into a dragon. Ideas are endless!.. yet you decide to steal.. This creats additional beef and for that, look above.
